02 / Our Story

The Kobi Legacy

Kobi Construction Ltd. is a full service deep utility and site servicing contractor delivering reliable, safe, and high quality underground infrastructure solutions across Calgary and surrounding regions. For nearly 20 years, the Kobi name has been recognized in Calgary’s innercity construction market, completing hundreds of infill service connections annually and numerous Deep Site Servicing Plans (DSSPs).

Under new ownership by Ahmed Kalaf and Nasser Borhot, both formerly servicing the deep utility industry for over 20 years, Kobi Construction has expanded beyond innercity work to include subdivision development, multifamily projects, and largescale municipal infrastructure. This revitalized leadership has strengthened the company’s capabilities, broadened its service footprint, and positioned Kobi as a competitive and trusted partner for developers across the region.

Kobi Construction partners with developers, engineers, and general contractors to deliver projects efficiently—from initial ground break to final tiein—with a strong focus on precision, safety, and schedule performance.
